I enjoyed this. I accidentally picked this up before reading the prequel (next on my TBR pile), but it didn't matter. The premise was straightforward: woman slips in a crack through time to the modern age and tries for years to get back until finally ...more | |

I was pretty disappointed in this book. The premise seemed intriguing, and it began fairly well, but the whole friends-to-lovers vibe was ruined by the fact that in the alternate reality, he didn't have a clue who she was. After a bad breakup, Gemma ...more |

I liked this well enough, but none of the characters felt...real. Especially the aunt and the sister. They seemed to only exist (both in the story and for the main character) when she needed to take them off the shelf and vent. I also won't " Read more of this review » |

DNF I wanted to like this book. It started with a fun meet cute, and there was immediate tension over the fact that she's not a reader and he's a librarian. Yet there were warning signs early on when she chose to lie and say she did read. The thing is, ...more |

I put up the first six chapters of the trilogy I'm publishing. I have an agent who is waiting to sign papers until book 1 is publisher ready-which it is NOT. It is currently in the hands of my fabulous beta readers. I thought I'd see if the beginning got some response here. Would you take a look? I would value your opinion!
It's YA/16+, sci-fi, fantasy, romance about a girl Samurai and a half metal man who join forces to bring down an evil wizard and set her people free from another dimension when she learns that she is really an enchanted princess. It's complicated. Lol.
If you go to the top of the screen and hit the arrow next to 'Explore,' then click on creative writing, go to the tab that says 'new' and scroll down a little ways till you see a girl with swords. The title is The Key of F. Thanks! I appreciate it!
